High School Academics

Attica USD 511 provides strong academic instruction in all core areas; as well as the fine arts, business, industrial arts, Family and Consumer Sciences, and foreign language. The junior high and high school both operate on a seven hour day.

The district utilizes an assessment program designed to provide educational and career guidance to students and parents as well as provide data necessary for school improvement. The program consists of the following: Kansas State Assessments, Renaissance Reading including AR and STAR testing, asset test for ITV college classes, American College Testing (ACT), interest inventory with ACT, Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), interest inventory with ASVAB, ACT plan, and interest inventory with ACT plan.
