High School Graduation

Attica USD 511 High School Graduation is on the Sunday afternoon before school ends for the school year.

During the graduation ceremonies, the senior parents are recognized and presented special flowers, and a Citizenship Award from Kansas State High School Activities Association is presented to one graduating senior girl and boy. The valedictorian and salutatorian are announced and awarded their medals. They each then give a short presentation to their classmates.

A main address is given by a speaker chosen by the class. The speaker is usually a member of the faculty, staff, alumni or community. The ceremony concludes with graduates walking across the stage to receive their diplomas.
