High School Student Council

The Student Council is an organization that is designed to develop leadership. Its objectives are

1. to promote and support school activities;

2. to create a spirit of cooperation and understanding between students, teachers, administration and support staff;

3. to promote a finer spirit of true sportsmanship both in scholarship and athletics;

4. to promote general welfare of the school;

5. to present the desires of the students to the faculty and administration; and

6. to unify all student organizations under one general organization.

Student Council sponsors the annual food drive each year. Last year, three hundred and three pounds of food was collected.

Student Council earns money for their homecoming events by filling the school pop machine. The group also gains money from the juice machine and the bubble gum machine.
