Students who score at the proficient level receive a certificate, an academic letter, and a bronze academic medal. Students who score at the advanced level receive a certificate, an academic letter and a silver academic medal. Students who score at the exemplary level receive a certificate, an academic letter, and a gold academic medal.

As an extra incentive to score well on the Kansas Assessments, each student that scores proficient, advanced, or exemplary receives a day out of school.
