Puls Elementary Other Activities

Puls Elementary commerates, recognizes, or celebrates a number of days, people, or activities including the following:

Grandparents Invited to School: In the fall, grades K-6 invite their grandparents to join them for lunch. After lunch, the grandparents are encouraged to return to the classrooms and participate in special activities with their grandchildren.

100 Day Activities: On the 100th day of school, grades K-2 spend the day doing activities that involve 100 such as getting 100 signatures, 100 handprints, 100 buttons, etc.

Play Day: In the spring, before school is out, grades K-5 participate in a fun day organized similarly to a mini trackmeet. Students compete in such outdoor competitions as ball throws, running races, etc. Mr. Winters coordinates the activities and receives assistance from elementary teachers and the sixth grade class.

Other Activities: Other activities include Fire Prevention Week, Life Saving Presentations, Field Trips, etc.
