Attica Public Schools-USD 511 will have new, but familiar, leadership for the 2018-2019 school year as the Board of Education unanimously approved the hiring of Mike Sanders as Superintendent and K-12 Principal. Mike has been in education for over twenty-five years. He has been a leader in the classroom as a Social Studies teacher, a building principal, and school superintendent. His work as been recognized by his supervisors and state organizations with awards such as Conway Spring Middle School Teacher of the Year and as one of the Aspiring Principals in Kansas by the United School Administrator organization.
An Attica alumni himself, Mr. Sanders already has his office filled with some retro bulldog memorabilia. We are very fortunate to have him in our school and community, and wish him all the luck! If you need to contact Mr. Sanders, his email is mikesanders@usd511.org.
