USD 511 Library
Attica USD 511 has one library that services all faculty, staff and K-12 students. The library features nearly 12,000 books with a large portion of the book collection being a part of the Accelerated Reading Program.
The library is utilized by Destiny-Follett online public cataloging system that incorporates a computerized card catalog, check-outs, check-ins, and reports. The card catalog is available to all faculty, staff and students on computers throughout the school, using the website set up for our school -- https://attica.follettdestiny.com/portal.
A computer is set up in the library available to staff and students to use for AR testing, library research, or card catalog.
In addition to 12,000 books, the library also has reference items available to view in-house, such as atlas', dictionaries, bibles, and the local newspaper.
The library is a comfortable, inviting space for students to read a book, take tests, or have a quiet space to take a college class.
